The New Ringgold man involved in an apparent murder-suicide incident at his home on Saturday has died from his injuries.

Michael Mindock III, 53, of 687 Arrow Road, New Ringgold, died at 10:10 p.m. Sunday in St. Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem according to a report released by Lehigh County Coroner Scott Grim. An autopsy to determine the exact cause of Mindock's death has been scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 6.

West Penn Township Police and first responders were dispatched to the Mindock home shortly after 9 p.m. Saturday for two gunshot victims. At the home, they found Mindock and his wife, Brigette, 56, according to West Penn Township Police Chief Brian Johnson.

Both victims were airlifted from the scene. Mrs. Mindock was released from Lehigh Valley Hospital on Sunday according to reports.

The investigation into the incident is being conducted by the Lehigh County Coroner's Office and West Penn Township Police.
