Holiday fundraiser

The Monroe County Historical Association will host the annual "Holiday Luncheon at the Stroud Mansion" fundraiser on Dec. 10 and 11.

There are two seatings each day. The early lunch seating will be held at 11 a.m. and guests may dine until 12:30 p.m. and the late lunch seating will be held at 1 p.m. and guests may dine until 2:30 p.m.The holiday luncheon will be held on the second floor of the 1795 Stroud Mansion, 900 Main St. in Stroudsburg. Please note the second floor is not handicap accessible.The historic building will be decorated for the holidays and guests will enjoy the sounds of the season performed by local musicians. The Stroud Mansion museum exhibit rooms will be open to those attending the luncheon.The luncheon will be a hot buffet-style meal catered by The Cook's Corner Restaurant in Henryville. This year's menu will feature: cranberry walnut Jello salad; mixed green salad with an apple cider vinaigrette; chicken roulade served with a savory apple, leek, and Brie cheese stuffing ladled with a light cream sauce; whipped brown sugar butternut squash; roasted garlic smashed red potatoes; fresh baked wheat rolls, and a selection of homemade desserts. Coffee, decaf, tea and a complimentary glass of wine, will be served at each table.Tickets must be purchased at the Stroud Mansion.
