A man found with a gunshot wound in a Hazleton home was taken for medical treatment Sunday morning.

City police said the 47-year-old victim was transported from a residence in the 700 block of Hayes Street to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Hazleton and then flown to a regional trauma center. Police stated the incident doesn't appear suspicious and is still under investigation.Four police vehicles could be found outside the home around 10:30 a.m. while someone wept loudly inside the residence. An officer took a long gun out of the home while other officers were on scene and drove away with it in their vehicle.The victim's medical condition was unknown.No other injuries were reported.Distributed by Tribune Content Agency LLC
