Black Diamond Writers’ network meeting

Would you like to write about your pet? If so, attend the meeting of the Black Diamond Writers’ Network, a writer’s group, from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, at the Tamaqua Public Library, 30 S. Railroad St., Tamaqua.

Be inspired by a writer’s way of immortalizing a special pet. Steve and Bev Klinger will share a story about their dog who was born with a disability.

His strong will to live was an inspiration to everyone. To remember him, the Klingers wrote a book called “Courageous Cole.” The book will be available for purchase at the meeting.

Steve is a retired learning support teacher and middle school guidance counselor.

Bev is retired having been an administrative assistant with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. She started Puppy Luv Kennels 26 years ago raising AKC puppies.

The BDWN meeting is free and open to the public.
