State police at Frackville reported on two arrests for assault.

About 11 p.m. on Friday, March 22, they responded to a domestic disturbance in the village of Brandonville, East Union Township. On scene troopers said the victim, identified as a 43-year-old female, told them that Daniel Wylie, 43, of Ringtown, subjected her to various amounts of physical contact.

Wylie was placed under arrest and charged with simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, and harassment. He was arraigned by on-call District Judge James Reiley, of Pottsville, and committed to the county prison in Pottsville after failing to post 10 percent of $25,000 bail.

The female sustained minor injuries in the incident, troopers said.

The second incident was reported about 5 a.m. on Saturday, March 23, at 286 Lofty Road, McAdoo, in Kline Township. Troopers said a 22-year-old female from Andreas, reported that Greg Muffley, 29, of that address, began to verbally abuse her inside the residence stated. Muffley then kicked and spit at the female as he attempted to push her out of the home.

Muffley pushed her off the deck of the home causing her to fall backwards, hitting her back and head off the ground.

The victim got into her vehicle to leave and Muffley threw a large metal object at the rear window, smashing the glass. The victim drove away from the residence and call 9-1-1. She sustained several bruises on her arms, a injured right thumb, and multiple lacerations to her back and head.

Muffley was not immediately found and an arrest warrant was issued. He was taken into custody on Sunday, March 24. He was arraigned on charges of simple assault, harassment, and criminal mischief before Reiley. He was committed to the county prison after failing to post 10 percent of $50,000 bail.
