Trinity happenings

Trinity Lutheran Church, 175 S. Third St., will hold Sunday worship for the third Sunday after Pentecost at 9 a.m. Lay Eucharistic ministers will be commissioned. Music from the Trinity Praise Band will be featured with guest vocalist Becky McFadden. Interim pastor, the Rev. Donald Hayn, will preside. The church is air-conditioned. Coffeehouse fellowship follows.

Community Vacation Bible School will be held 6:30-8:30 p.m. from Sunday, June 16 to Thursday, June 20. This year's program is "Everywhere Fun Fair. Where God's World Comes Together." Registration is free for children age 3 through grade six; contact the church office at (610) 377-4303 to register.

A Service of Healing will be held during the June 30 worship service. The Service of Healing is said to be especially beneficial to those with physical, emotional or spiritual burdens.

The Barnstormers, a 50-member choral group performing spiritual and patriotic selections, will perform Saturday, July 13, at 7:30 p.m. The members are from throughout the New England states. Admission is free.

Free community dinner

All Saints Episcopal Church, 301 N. Second St., will host a free community dinner from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, June 20. Everyone is invited. For additional information, call (610) 377-2675.

Book signing

Sherry L. Hoffman will hold a book signing at the Lehighton Area Memorial Library from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, June 8. Hoffman is a local teacher, mother, and business owner and author of A to Z Character Education for the Classroom. For more information, call (610) 377-2750.
