A crowd of over 260 turned out for Wednesday's regular meeting of the Tamaqua Area School Board, including parents, taxpayers and students. Many offered ideas, opinions and advice on ways to trim the budget while maintaining a quality education for students. Due to the number of attendees, the meeting was moved to the Tamaqua Area Middle School cafeteria. For individual budget reactions, see page 2.
