McAdoo Police released information on several arrests made by the department.

• Vincent Roman, 63, of Scranton, was stopped for a traffic violation at 11:20 p.m. on March 30. He was given field sobriety tests due to possible intoxication and transported to a hospital for blood tests. Test results have come back and are positive for amphetamine and methamphetamine.

He was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of a controlled substance and the traffic violation.

• Stephen Carroll, 29, of Tamaqua, was stopped for a traffic violation at 10:01 p.m. on April 19. Officers noticed a strong smell of marijuana. Carroll refused to have a blood test.

He was charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance and the traffic offense.

• Joel Adrian, 33, of McAdoo, was stopped for a registration violation at 6:25 p.m. on Aril 21. He initially told the officer his name was Michael Rivera but later admitted to being Joel Adrian. He said he lied because he knew there was a warrant for his arrest.

He was charged with giving false identification to law enforcement, driving with a suspended license, driving with an invalid registration and placed in the Schuylkill County Prison in Pottsville on the warrant.

• Luke Cann, 18, of Mountaintop, was charged with possession of a controlled substance after officers responded to a disturbance call at 2 p.m. on April 29. Cann was found in a South Kennedy Drive apartment in an intoxicated condition. He had 10 Klonopin pills and a can of Yuengling Lager in his possession.

He was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of an alcoholic beverage by a minor.
