Lewistown Valley Garden Club members won numerous awards for their entries at the 2019 Schuylkill County Fair.

Evelyn Adams won Best of Show for her arrangements in a child’s umbrella and one in rain boots.

Carol Kohn won first place for her display in the Fair Theme using wheat in arrangement and second place for the Tractor and Wagon display and Rain Boots.

Judy Kellner had two first-place winners, including her arrangement in an antique truck using farm animals as an accessory.

Linda Leiby, Best of Show for her sunflower specimen; second place in the antique truck category as well as other placed for numerous specimens. She also placed first on two baked goods and had four first places for vegetable specimens.

Mary Bridygham had 40 entries in various categories, winning 26 ribbons, including nine first-place winners, including one for her aloe plant and jade plant and yarrow and day lily specimens.
