CCEEC holds art program

Published January 09. 2019 12:49PM

The Carbon County Environmental Education Center is holding an adult art program titled Bluejay in Winter at 10 a.m. Saturday. The snow date is Jan. 26.

The noisy bluejay, with its harsh hawk call imitations, is one of the more colorful members of the corvid or crow family. With watercolors, an artistic study of a beautiful winter resident will be created.

All materials will be provided for a $15 fee, including reference photos. CCEEC feeders will be stocked for the morning, so live jay models may be on hand as well. The two-hour class is led by artist Jean Perry.
