Beltzville State Park event

Join Beltzville State Park staff from 9-11 p.m. on July 19 for an evening exploring the wonders of the heavens in the Night Sky Tour: Summer Constellations program.

View a star-laced sky, planets, star clusters and galaxies using optics. This program will begin an informative discussion followed by a hands-on exploration of the wonders and mysteries of the evening skies.

Feel free to bring your own equipment.

The event, which will take place at the Environmental Interpretive Center at Beltzville State Park, Lehighton, is free. The parks asks visitors to the night sky programs to leave pets at home and arrive before dark to check in at the center.

Preregistration is required to attend and spaces are limited.

Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

If the sky is unfavorable for stargazing, an alternative program may be held.

All programs will be canceled in the event of severe thunderstorms.
