Blues Festival this weekend at Split Rock

The Pennsylvania Blues Festival will be held at Split Rock Resort, 100 Moseywood Road, Lake Harmony, this weekend.

Gates open at noon Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and music begins at 1 p.m.Music lovers can enjoy a number of Blues performances at various venues around the resort. Musical performers include:Friday: Mikey Junior's Blues Revue; and Bobby Kyle, Randy Lippincott, Barry Harrison, Joel Perry and Friends Tribute to Johnny "Clyde" Copeland.Saturday: Dwayne Dopsie and The Zydeco Hellraisers; Selwyn Birchwood; Sugar Ray and The Bluestones; Walter Wolfman Washington and the Roadmasters; Shemekia Copeland; Harmonica Shah and Friends; and John Mooney.Sunday: The Highways QC's; Vaneese Thomas; Victor Wainwright and the Wild Roots; John Nemeth; Lil' Ed and The Blues Imperials; Alvin Youngblood Hart; The Peterson Brothers; The Mikey Junior Band; The Slam Allen Band and Bobby Kyle Band.Wristbands to the festival must be purchased for entry into the event.
