The Tamaqua Community Art Center, 125 Pine St., Tamaqua, is hosting a series of arts and crafts classes specifically designed for children.

The sessions will begin on Sept. 13 and then be held every Wednesday through Nov. 29. Hours will be 6 to 7 p.m. for all classes.The sessions are free, but all donations to defray cost of supplies are welcome.To register, call 570-668-1192.
