Cailyn Joseph, daughter of Charles and Romayne Joseph of Nesquehoning, was recently accepted into Phi Eta Sigma, the national freshman honor society, at Salisbury University.

Joseph is a sophomore majoring in biology and environmental studies. She is a member of the softball team and Capital Athletic Conference All-Academic team.

Joseph is a recipient of the Presidential Scholarship. She is a dean’s list student. Joseph is a 2017 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School.
