An Art, Wine and Open Mic Mixer will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. March 13 at the Carbon Chamber and Economic Development Corporation Office, 137 South St. in Lehighton.

There will be finger foods, wine, music and art. The Carbon County Art League is co-hosting this event with the CCEDC for the second year.

To show your artwork, you must be a current member of the CCAL. Members should bring no more than three pieces of artwork (unless it’s small sculptural or jewelry pieces that don’t require an easel. In that case limit yourself to about 2 feet of table space).

All artwork should be visibly tagged with the name of the artist, name of the piece, medium and the price. When pricing your work, keep in mind that there is a 20 percent commission that is collected by the chamber. The art league will be bringing small table top easels. If your piece is on the larger side please bring an easel that can accommodate it.
