CCTI classes start Monday, staff effort highlighted

With Carbon Career & Technical Institute’s first day of school on Monday, David Reinbold, CCTI administrative director, thanked all who participated in getting the school ready for classes:

• Ken Walters and his team for their work preparing the facilities.

• Christine Trovato for her assistance scheduling support staff and co-teachers in addition to facilitating IEP/Intake meeting and ensuring that all students’ IEPs are in order.

“We try to give as much support as we can, and Christine has been a big driving force behind that,” Reinbold noted. “We really appreciate that.”

• Bill Mack, new principal, for his work reviewing and revising our induction plan, facilitating new teacher orientation sessions and preparing for new student orientation as well as the teachers’ and students’ first day.

• Jeff Deutsch, Frank Kluck and Sandi Kohutka for keeping the business office running smoothly issuing paychecks, paying bills and processing purchase orders.

• Marissa Stoop for “hitting the ground running” and learning the roles of the guidance counselor and working on student schedules.

• Nate Rinda, Corey Rinda and Jamilynn Johannsen for distributing Chromebooks and ensuring all of the technology is up and running from on the first day.

• Tara Benyo for making a smooth transition into the main office administrative assistant position and job managing all her new duties.

• Chris Graver for her work with human resources items, preparing for Joint Operating Committee and administrative meetings, organizing and tracking all of the paperwork that passes through the office, and acting as a liaison between the office, staff, business office, the main office and the public.

• Jeff Neitz for his dedication and commitment to preparing the 2026-27 student and teacher schedules.
