Kemery named to Landmark Second Team

Moravian College cross-country runner Gavin Kemery was recently named to the Landmark All-Conference Second Team.

The Northern Lehigh graduate finished in 10th place at the Landmark Conference Championships in a time of 28:31.36. This is the second straight year the junior has earned Second Team honors.

“Gavin was steady throughout the race and pretty much maintained the same place he had from the first two miles in,” said Moravian Director of Cross Country and Track & Field Jesse Baumann.

Kemery, along with teammates Gregory Jaindl (third place) and Justin Beasley-Turner (12th), helped the Greyhounds place third in the meet.

“All three ran smart, tough, and overall had a great day they should be extremely proud of,” said Baumann.

Moravian will be competing in the 2017 NCAA Division III Mideast Regional being hosted by Dickinson College on Saturday, Nov. 11.
