Tamaqua police charged Michael Erbe, 69, of Coaldale, with violating a protection from abuse order at 2:25 p.m. Oct. 8 and 10 a.m. Oct. 9 on the unit block of West Lehigh Street in Coaldale.

Police said a security camera captured Erbe briefly walking onto the property of the woman who has the PFA against him on Oct. 8.

The woman told police that on Oct. 9, he walked toward the fence and told the woman that he was fixing it and that she could talk to him.
