Kirk Cressley and Ama Warnigiris were named top 4-Hers in the county when the Penn State Extension Office held its annual banquet at the Mahoning Valley Ambulance building.

They were presented awards by Paul Shealer and Nancy Grotevant of the extension office, who said the duo was selected “because you can always count on them.”

Shealer said Cressley, 15, was recently called upon to teach archery at the 4-H camp while Warnigiris was honored because of her ability to step in and help whenever she was needed.

Cressley was also named the outstanding first-year counselor.
