Spooktacular fun

Ariel Hinds, 10, of Brodheadsville, gets candy from volunteer Megan Bush at the trunk-or-treat during Chestnuthill Township’s 5th annual Halloween Spooktacular on Saturday afternoon. Bush was helping at Western Pocono Community Library’s festively-decorated spot in the field at Chestnuthill Park. Many children enjoyed getting treats from community organizations. Other activities included games, crafts, a pumpkin patch, costume contest, bounce houses and refreshments. CHRIS GRAPE-GARVEY/SPECIAL TO THE TIMES NEWS
