The Weatherly American Legion Auxiliary Unit 360 presented a Community Service Award to Addison Nyer for her efforts supporting the Wounded Warriors Fishing Derby at the Paradise Hunting and Fishing Club benefiting veterans at the Wilkes-Barre VA Hospital and facilities.

She helped the kitchen crew to set up the serving and dessert area and assisted with serving refreshments to veterans fishing across the bridge. She also assisted with serving lunch and cleaning up.

Nyer also comes to the Paradise Hunting and Fishing Club for fish stocking at the creek and helps club members all summer long.
