State police at the Fern Ridge barracks reported the following incidents:

• Dennis Lavish, 48, of Cochranville, was charged with harassment after police were called to the West End Fair in Chestnuthill Township at 9:46 p.m. Aug. 27.

Police said he had been a ride operator at the fair and became involved in an altercation with a 16-year-old boy from Saylorsburg. They said Lavish attempted to take the boy’s phone and was unsuccessful and then chased him on the fairgrounds before constables and security intervened.

• Josette A. Shea, 69, of Saylorsburg, was cited for disorderly conduct after police were called to the West End Fair in Chestnuthill Township at 8:134 p.m. Aug. 26.

Police said they were summoned for an intoxicated female causing issues at a vendor stand, made contact with Shea and determined that she was under the influence of alcohol. They said she was detained and charged after refusing to obey commands to vacate the property.

• A 47-year-old woman from Bushkill reported a criminal mischief incident on Danner Road, Penn Forest Township.

She told police that between 5 p.m. Aug. 10 and 9:54 a.m. Aug. 18 someone damaged a sliding-glass door on the property with a pellet gun.

Police said the damage was estimated at $3,500.

• Logan Hughes, 20, of Albrightsville, was cited for harassment by physical contact after police were called to a domestic incident at 9:16 a.m. Aug. 26 on Seneca Trail, Penn Forest Township.

Police said the victim, a 23-year-old woman from Albrightsville, told them that he put his hands on her throat during a verbal argument and then damaged her vehicle.

• Edgar Rivera, 56, of Effort, is facing retail theft (shoplifting) charges as a result of two incidents in May at the ShopRite store in Brodheadsville.

Police said that on May 12 and 14, Rivera stole various food and personal care items valued at $222.39 from the store, according to the store’s loss prevention personnel.

• Dorion Gibbs, 19, of Saylorsburg, is facing drug possession charges after police said they seized marijuana from him while serving Gibbs with a temporary Protection From Abuse court order at 6:08 p.m. July 31.

Police said the incident occurred on Elk Lane, Jackson Township.

They said that while Gibbs was relinquishing firearms, ammunition and other weapons as ordered by the court, they observed a glass jar containing marijuana in Gibbs’ bedroom.

He is charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Frank Longyhore, 30, of Effort, is facing criminal mischief charges after police were called to a property on Lakeside Drive, Chestnuthill Township, at 5:12 p.m. July 27.

Police said a 21-year-old woman from Saylorsburg told them that Longyhore printed a 3D object at his residence and “superglued” the object on her 2010 Honda Civic. She told police when she removed the object it caused damages to the vehicle’s paint.

• A 60-year-old man from Cresco was cited for harassment by communications after business owners came to the barracks to report the incident at 9:23 p.m. Sept. 1.

Police said a 40-year-old woman from Saylorsburg told them an employee’s husband was harassing them. The woman reported that the man had repeatedly texted and called her, which was not wanted. Police said the suspected continued to text the victim with vague threats.

• Brandon Sanderson, 34, of Saylorsburg, was cited for harassment by physical contact after police were called to a dispute at 10:52 a.m. Aug. 24 on Lupine Drive, Chestnuthill Township.

Police said he and a 31-year-old woman engaged in a verbal argument during which he pulled the glasses off her face and threw them to the ground. The woman exited her vehicle and a physical encounter ensued during which she was pushed against the vehicle, according to police.
