The Panther Valley Council of the Knights of Columbus will hold “Dog Days of Summer” from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, in the borough’s Ludlow Park.

The club is collecting items all month for the Carbon County Animal Shelter in Nesquehoning.

Donations can be made at the Summit Hill event.

Bob Infante of the Knights of Columbus said items sought are soft dog treats, Pedigree choice cuts canned dog food, Purina Moist & Meaty (cheeseburger), large and extra large dog toys, disinfectant wipes, Fabuloso cleaner, Kennelsol, laundry detergent, leads/slip leashes and trashbags.
