Towamensing Township has a tentative time and date of 7 p.m. on Sept. 10 for a hearing for the data center ordinance. The township is looking into confirming the date and availability for the meeting to be held at the township firehouse.
In other business, a conditional use hearing for the Sunrise Lehighton group for Lakeside Self Storage will be held at 7 p.m. on Aug. 12 at the township building.
The Historical Commission said it will wait until next year to have an open house for the Greenzweig schoolhouse.
There’s a lot of scheduling to be done, and they want to make sure people are available.
Engineer Greg Haas and Roadmaster Scott Mosier will be inspecting township bridges and drain pipes.
Afterward, they will report on what needs to be taken care of or fixed.
Approval was given for a time extension for the George subdivision. The Hill subdivision and Haydt line adjustment were given a time extension and approval of the sewage planning module.
Tyrell Owens was hired as a new administrative staff member.
