The Monroe County commissioners approved the following items during their meeting on Wednesday:

• Certificates — American Legion Post 346, for its rededication; and Northbound & Company, for its grand opening at the Scotrun location;

• Grants from the Opioid Settlement Funds — Memorandum of Understanding with Path to Peace, $50,000 for emergency housing assistance services and transportation services; and with Rays of Hope for Addiction, $6,500;

• Payments from the Hotel Tax funds — Sheriff Office, overtime for Independence Day Parade coverage, $277.54; Pocono Mountains Council of Governments, $1,000;

• Add vendors to the County List of Approved Vendors — District Attorney: Melonie Sappe; Information Technology and Services: BMC Helix Inc.; Office of Emergency Management: Charles Kevin Krause and Mark Boncal; and Sheriff: Tri-Tech Forensics Inc.;

• New COBRA rates, Sept. 1 to Aug. 31, 2027 for employees only, employees plus one person in the family, and employees plus two or more people;

• Service Agreements for medical, dental and vision plans — HM Life Insurance Co. Stop Loss Renewal, totaling $1,177,837; Highmark HRA, $5.15 per month per person; Highmark PPO and HMO, $1.97 per month per person; Geisinger Administrative Service Fee, $10.85 per month per person; Highmark Master Health Service Agreement Option 2; VBA Vision, $0.96 per month per person; Swift MD/ReviveHealth Inc., $5.50 per month per person; United Concordia Dental Administrative Service Fee, $1.80 per month per person; MadScripts in Partnership with Aphora Health;

• Tax Claim — Rental agreement with the Sherman Theater on Sept. 14, $600.

• Authorize the filing of a proposal for funds with the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development for the Emergency Solutions Grant 2026;

• Contract with Teamsters 229 from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31, 2028, and;

• Ratify the revised IRS mileage reimbursement rate to .76 cents per mile effective July 1.
