Wednesday is Schuylkill County Day at the Schuylkill County Fair.

Gates to the fairgrounds in Summit Station will open at 4 p.m. Midway rides also open at 4 p.m.

• At 4:30 p.m., a tractor parade takes off from the main gate. The celebrity tractor pull is at 5:30 p.m. at the Ag Museum track.

• At 6 p.m., “Invasive Plants: Mosquitoes’ Favorite,” will be held from the indoor midway. Also at 6 p.m., the Livestock Skill-A-Thon will be held at the Ag Arena.

• From 6-7:30 p.m., meet 4-H Club members and their horses at the horse barn. At 7 p.m., Pull Off Productions and Farm Stock Pulls will be held at the track at an extra cost.

• Eric Carwalla’s Uptown Band will perform at 7 and 9 p.m. on the stage, and a boilo contest will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the PA Preferred building.

Thursday

Thursday is Senior Appreciation Day at the Schuylkill County Fair.

• Gates to the fairgrounds in Summit Station open at 11 a.m. A mini horse performance will be held in the horse barn at 3 p.m. At 4 p.m., amusement rides open. Livestock sale buyers may check in at the Ag Arena at 4 p.m.

• A tractor parade will be held from the main gate at 4:30 p.m. The 4-H/FFA livestock auction and awards will be held from the Ag Arena at 5 p.m.

• Registration for the cornhole tournament will begin at 5 p.m. from the Ag Museum track, and the tournament follows at 6 p.m. Menagerie in Motion with Possum Patty will be held at 6 p.m. from the indoor midway.

• From 6 to 7:30 p.m., meet the 4-H Club members and their horses in the horse barn. An equine demonstration will be held at 7 p.m. from the horse barn.

• At 7 and 9 p.m., Jimmy Holmes, Graceland’s 2025 ultimate Elvis, will perform with The Spin-Outs from the main stage.
