Weatherly Borough issued a water boil advisory for a portion of the borough affected by a water main break that occurred Thursday night.

Crews are working to fix the leak and restore water services, the borough said.

The advisory is for people living on Hudsondale Street, the 200 to 400 blocks, and Fairview and Maple streets until further notice.

People should not drink the water without boiling it first. The advisory is expected to continue for several days, as crews continue to sample and test water to ensure it is safe to drink.

The borough will advise residents when the advisory is lifted.
