July 13, 2014 — Tamaqua’s offense explodes for 12 runs over the final two innings to rally for a 14-7 victory over Valley West and clinch the District 18 10-11 Little League championship. Trailing by two runs entering the fifth, Brian Milot knocks in a pair of runs to help his team take the lead. Milot finishes with three hits. The winners, coached by Mike Van Buskirk, also receive three hits and three runs from Aaron Coccio. Starting pitcher Nate Wickersham earns the win for Tamaqua, which advances to the Section 6 playoffs.
