The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced the following road work this week, weather permitting:

Carbon County

• Kidder Township: Interstate 80 East and West between Exit 274 (Route 534) and Exit 284 (Route 115), daytime lane restrictions, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to Wednesday.

Lehigh County

• North Whitehall Township: Old Post Road between Route 329 / Bellview Road and Route 873, road will be closed and detoured. Detour will utilize Route 329 and Route 873 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday.

• North Whitehall Township: Neffs Laurys Road between Scheidys Road and Route 145, road will be closed and detoured. Detour will utilize Route 145, Clearview Road, and Scheidys Road 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday to Friday.

• Whitehall Township: Lehigh Street Between: Route 145/MacArthur Road and 7th Street, daytime lane restriction with flagging 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to July 24.

Monroe County

• East Stroudsburg Borough: Interstate 80 West between Exit 307 (Route 611 to Route 191) and Exit 309 (Route 209), nighttime lane restriction both directions 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Tuesday to Wednesday.

• Tunkhannock Township: Route 115 between Route 903 and Deppners Road, daytime lane restriction 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to Friday.

• Chestnuthill Township: Route 715 between Route 209 and Mountain Road, daytime lane restriction 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to Friday.

• Hamilton Township: Route 33 between Route 611 and County Line, nighttime lane restriction for mobile patching 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday to Wednesday.

• Coolbaugh Township: Interstate 80 between Exit 293 (Interstate 380) and Carbon County Line, nighttime lane restriction for mobile patching 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Tuesday to Wednesday.

• Chestnuthill Township: Valley Road between Route 115 and Merwinsburg Road, daytime lane restriction 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to Friday.

• Hamilton Township: Bossardsville Road between Business Route 209 and Poplar Valley Road, daytime lane restriction 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday.

Northampton Count

• Moore Township: Route 946/ Mountain View Drive between Lehigh Drive and Nazareth Pike, daytime lane restriction with flagging 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to Wednesday.

• Lehigh Township: Maple Drive between Lehigh Drive and Mountain View Drive, daytime lane restriction with flagging 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to Friday.

• Stockertown Borough and Palmer Township: Route 33 North between Main Street (Tatamy Exit) and Route 191. As part of the ongoing Route 33 over Bushkill Creek Bridge Replacement Project, Traffic should be aware of upcoming traffic pattern changes. Route 33 North will be reduced to a single lane, and traffic will be switched, through a median crossover, to Route 33 South side. Also, Route 33 Northbound Entrance Ramp from Main Street (Tatamy) and Route 33 Northbound Exit Ramp to Route 191 will be closed and detoured. Detour will utilize Main Street (Tatamy), Sullivan Trail, Main Street (Stockertown), and Route 191 through Aug.14.

Schuylkill County

• Mahanoy Township: Route 54 Between: Mahanoy City and Barnesville, daytime lane restrictions 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday to Monday.

• West Mahanoy Township: Morea Road Between: Frackville and Morea, daytime lane restrictions 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday.
