Letter to the editor: A word about protests
I observed the many protests around the country against the president, ICE and Israel.
Most of these protesters are being paid. Two protesters died and would be alive today if they left their car and gun at home and stood on the street with their mass-produced sign. Are they paying taxes on the money they received?
Has OSHA investigated these deaths on the job?
They should have been protesting against the Democratic Party and the news media for lying and distorting the truth. Russian collusion, Hunter Biden’s laptop, border security and COVID origin are just a few.
What about the massive waste and fraud being funded by taxpayers?
Elon Musk and Nick Shirley have exposed many of these.
Education costs are increasing, while test scores have been decreasing. The Federal Dept of Education is sucking up millions of dollars since its inception.
The president of the teacher’s union receives a salary of over $600,000 a year, while teachers buy school supplies for their students. This is worthy of a protest.
Many poorly informed protesters believe the Republicans are trying to cut Medicare and Social Security. If you believe this, then you believe that Joe Biden was competent both physically and mentally to hold the office of president. The truth is, that Social Security and Medicare only has about ten years of solvency.
The reason that the protesters are so excitable and angry is because they know they have been lied to and truth can be uncomfortable.
I believe these protests were worthless. These people would have accomplished much more by praying. If they know how.
