The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announces the following road work this week:

Carbon County

• Towamensing Township: Spruce Hollow Road between Route 209 and Hahns Dairy Road, road will be closed and detoured for base repair work. Detour will utilize Route 209, Silver Spring Road, Kunkletown Road, and Hahns Dairy Road 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Thursday.

Lehigh County

• Bethlehem: Route 378 between Northampton County line and Route 22, daytime lane restriction 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday to Thursday.

• Upper Saucon / Salisbury: Interstate 78 West between Northampton County line and Exit 49 (Route 100), daytime shoulder restriction 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday to Thursday.

• Upper Saucon / Salisbury Township: Interstate 78 East Between Exit 49 (Route 100) and Northampton County line, daytime shoulder restriction 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday to Thursday.

Monroe County

• Exit 293 (I-380) and state line, daytime lane restriction due to litter removal 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday.

•Route 33 between Bartonsville and county line, daytime lane restriction due to litter removal 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday.

•Route 209 between Interstate 80 and Route 33, daytime lane restriction 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to Tuesday.

•Chestnut Ridge Road between: Kunkletown Road and Upper Smith Gap Road, daytime lane restriction 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday to Thursday

•Eldred Township: Kunkletown Road between Silver Springs and county line, daytime lane restriction 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday.

•Polk Township: Route 534 between Jonas Road and county line, daytime lane restriction 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday to Wednesday.

•Chestnuthill Township: Weir Lake Road between Route 209 and Kunkletown Road, daytime lane restriction 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday.

•Polk Township: Beltzville Drive between Route 534 and County Line, daytime lane restriction 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday.

•Polk Township: Route 209 between Hideaway Hill Road and Streamside Drive, daytime lane restriction 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday.

•Chestnuthill Township: Route 115 between Jonas Road and Barney Lane, daytime lane restriction 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday.

•Ross Township: Mount Eaton Road between Old Route 115 and Kunkletown Road, daytime lane restriction 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday.

•Hamilton Township: Route 33 between Interstate 80 and Snydersville, be alert for lane restrictions on Route 33 north or south for survey work 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Tuesday.

Northampton County

• Lower Saucon Township/Williams Township: Interstate 78 Between: Exit 75 (To Route 611) and Exit 67 (Route 412), daytime shoulder restriction 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to Thursday.

• Moore Township: Route 946/ Mountain View Drive between Lehigh Drive and Nazareth Pike, daytime lane restriction with flagging 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to Tuesday.

• Moore Township: Scenic Drive between Mountain Road and West Mountain View Drive, daytime lane restriction with flagging 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to Thursday.

• Allen Township: Route 329/ Nor-Bath Blvd Between: Northampton Street and Main Street, daytime lane restriction with flagging 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to Tuesday.

• Walnutport Borough: Route 145 between Treichlers Bridge and Lehigh Drive, daytime lane restriction with flagging 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday to Thursday.

Schuylkill County

•Pine Grove Township: Interstate 81 North between Exit 100 (Route 443) and Exit 104 (Route 125), 24 hour northbound lane restriction noon to midnight Monday to Thursday.
