The times are a changing ... to the extreme

I guess, you could say I have now become that “older generation.”

I was born a long time ago in the year of 1948.

They called us, the “baby boomers” because our parents brought us into the world soon after the ending of World War II in which America became involved.

Our parents were considered “The Greatest Generation,” because they had helped to save America from the “Third Reich” in their attempt to conquer the world.

There were three countries, who had joined together consisting of Germany, Japan and Italy around 1933. America had officially entered the fight against those evil tyrannical dictatorships in 1941.

Upon the surprise attack by the Japanese on our naval base at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii killing over 2,400 Americans.

President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, through a congressional declaration of war, had entered America one day later into this worldwide conflict.

Italy was defeated first by overthrowing the fascist dictatorship of Mussolini. Italy then joined forces with the Allies including the American forces in 1943. Adolf Hitler, who at the time was the chancellor of Germany had established the Nazi Party (National Socialist German Workers’ Party) .

The Nazi’s main ambition to dominate the world was officially defeated in 1945. Japan finally surrendered four months later, after President Harry S. Truman’s decision to drop two Atom bombs on Japan’s two large industrial cities, Nagasaki and Hiroshima. A total of over 400,000 American soldiers had sacrificed their lives, so America could remain as “One Nation under God” the home of the free and the brave.

I wanted to give the reader a brief history lesson on how a generation of American patriots had willingly gone off to war in 1941 to save America. They had raised my generation to also become America patriots. There will always be differences in generations, because the periods of time we all live in are always changing.

My parent’s generation grew up listening to what they called “swing music,” which became popular in the 1940’s. This influenced the way they dressed and danced to their music. The music I grew up with became popular as “rock n’ roll” among my generation in the 1950’s influencing the way we dressed and danced.

Of course, there was a big difference in how each of our generations had interpreted these different eras of time through our music, our clothing styles, our hair styles, even our manner of socializing.

The point I am trying to make is, there were differences between our parent’s generation and my generation, but certainly not to the extreme it has become in these present times. Now, my children are known as “Generation X” followed by my grandchildren being called, “Millennials” and their children known as “Generation Z.”

Each of these generations have become more and more extreme in how they interpret our American culture and our society in general. I believe, it all began with the extreme division between the two main political parties in America.

When the Democratic Party became the power to be in 2009, they inspired many radical changes in our American culture. They developed a more liberal progressive stance within the far-left branch of their party. This radical change began a more prevalent gay rights movement being accepted as the norm.

As time went on young boys were allowed to compete in girls’ sports and use their locker rooms. Young children were beginning to become confused about what gender they were meant to be. Resulting in radical “transgender” sex changes. Illicit drugs were becoming more available and made legal for use in many states.

This new far-left liberal democratic government was attempting to eradicate our American Judea Christian culture. In which America was originally founded on in the 18th century. Including their attempts to change and ratify our American Constitution to suit them.

Right now, the people of America are in a political war of good against evil. God needs to remain in America like our founding fathers originally intended or America will be changed for the worse forever
