Entertainment for everyone
Sebastian Bach, set to fill the role of Twisted Sister’s lead singer for select shows this fall, leads the entertainment events set for local and regional venues over the next two weeks.
The onetime Skid Row frontman, whose hits include “18 and Life” and “I Remember You,” plays Penn’s Peak. The latter also hosts, among others, Celtic act Gaelic Storm and country singer Lee Brice.
Among other highlights: country-rock star Hardy performs at PPL Center, blues/folk icon Tom Rush plays the Musikfest Café, and KC and the Sunshine Band bring disco/funk classics to the State Theatre.
Musicals, meanwhile, come to Tamaqua Community Arts Center, the State Theatre and Shawnee Playhouse, set to host “Matilda,” “Dog Man” and “Fiddler on the Roof SR.,” respectively.
