Blue Mountain, Camelback announce late-season events

With deep snowpack and one of the strongest winters in recent memory across the Pocono Mountains, Blue Mountain Resort and Camelback Resort are keeping the lifts spinning well into spring with festive on-snow events and prime late-season skiing and riding conditions.

Both mountains continue to enjoy excellent coverage thanks to sustained snowfall and snowmaking, with skiing expected to continue through Easter and into April. Camelback hopes to extend the season into early May, weather and conditions permitting.

To celebrate the extended season, the resorts are hosting family-friendly events that embrace the playful spirit of spring skiing. Blue Mountain will host its Cardboard Box Derby and Easter Egg Hunt on the Snow, while Camelback brings back its crowd-favorite Pond Skim, where skiers and riders attempt to glide across an icy pond in colorful costumes.

In addition, 2026-27 season passes for both properties are now on sale and valid immediately, allowing guests to ski and ride for the remainder of the current spring season before rolling seamlessly into next winter.

Pass benefits include discounts on food and beverages, savings on lessons and access to select year-round attractions, depending on the resort.

Festivities continue with music, food and drinks on the deck as spectators cheer on the skimmers. Prizes will be awarded for best skim, best costume and best splash.
