One person was seriously injured Saturday afternoon when involved in a crash in Lansford. The incident occurred just after 2 p.m. along West Patterson street near the Lansford pool.

The driver was traveling east when he lost control entering the right berm and hitting a tree.

The vehicle came to rest on its side in the roadway. The victim was treated at the scene by Lehighton paramedics before being transported to a nearby trauma center. Lansford police are investigating the incident.
