State police at the Lehighton barracks reported the following incidents:

• A 51-year-old man from Hartford, Connecticut, and a 45-year-old woman from Lehighton were cited for harassment by physical contact after police responded to an incident at 8:55 p.m. March 5 on Pohopoco Drive, Towamensing Township.

Police said they were involved in a verbal argument with each other that turned physical. No injuries were reported.

• A 25-year-old Lehighton woman is facing charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance after police made a traffic stop at 1:48 p.m. Feb. 5.

She was stopped in a 2010 Subaru Forester for numerous traffic violations in the 700 block of North First Street, Mahoning Township.

• A 42-year-old Coaldale man is facing charges of drug possession and driving under the influence of a controlled substance after police made a traffic stop at 10:11 p.m. Feb. 19.

He was stopped in a 2008 Ford Focus for numerous traffic violations in the 900 block of Mill Road, Mahoning Township.

• A 40-year-old Saylorsburg woman is facing charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance after police made a traffic stop at 8:13 p.m. Feb. 4.

She was stopped in a 2000 Hyundai Sonata for numerous traffic violations in the 1800 block of Route 209, Chestnuthill Township.

• A 33-year-old Nesquehoning man is facing charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after police made a traffic stop at 7:10 p.m. March 4.

He was stopped in a 2004 Volkswagen Jetta for numerous traffic violations in the 700 block of East Patterson Street, Lansford.

• A 46-year-old Summit Hill man is facing charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance after police made a traffic stop at 9:55 p.m. Feb. 24.

He was stopped in a 2011 Ford Escape for numerous traffic violations on Route 248 in Parryville.

• A 32-year-old Summit Hill woman is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol after police made a traffic stop at 7:53 p.m. Feb. 24.

She was stopped in a 2020 Nissan for numerous traffic violations at the intersection of West Patterson Street and Parkway Road, Lansford.
