Diamond I. Lopez, 28, of Slatington, was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 4:53 a.m. Feb. 24 on Old Post Road, North Whitehall Township, police said.

State police at the Bethlehem barracks said Lopez had a broken arm and was transported by personnel from the Northern Valley ambulance to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest Campus, Salisbury Township.

Police said she was charged with driving while her operating privileges are suspended or revoked due to being in Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition for a driving under the influence arrest.

Police said she was driving a 2012 Dodge Avenger southbound and was negotiating a left-hand curve when the road was covered with snow and ice. They said she lost control of the vehicle, which crossed the road and hit a utility pole.

The car had disabling damage and was towed from the scene
