Three people were injured in a one-vehicle crash at 3:46 a.m. Feb. 20 on West Oak Street, Banks Township, state police at the Hazleton barracks said.

Police said the three were transported by personnel from The McAdoo Fire Company Ambulance Association and the Lehighton Ambulance Association to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Hazleton Campus.

The three were identified as Waldy Valentin-Fana, 20, of North Miami Beach, Florida, the driver of the vehicle; and passengers Dennia Beato-Santos, 28, and Milena Ortiz, 44, both of Hazleton.

Police said they had suspected minor injuries. A third passenger, Miguel Richardo, 59, also of Hazleton, was uninjured.

Police said the crash occurred as Vanentin-Fana was driving a 1998 Chevrolet Express westbound when it traveled off the road and overturned. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

Police said Valentin-Fana was cited for driving without a valid license.
