Northern Lehigh School Board approved the following personnel matters on Monday:

Resignation

• Megan Farkas, special education paraprofessional, Northern Lehigh High School, effective Dec. 10.

Appointments

• Ashley Smith, Slatington Elementary School administrative assistant, $35,570 prorated for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year, effective Jan. 5.

Salary adjustments

• Per the resignation of Christopher Bennett, approve to adjust the stipend amount for Department Leader for Business and Technology districtwide, approved at the Sept. 8 board agenda from $1,800 to $900 for work completed during the first half of the 2025-2026 school year.

• Mikayla Tanzos, from high school band director, $5,909, to high school band director (shared stipend — Jazz Ensemble), $5,459, 2025-2026 school year.

• Steven Jonkman, high school band director (shared stipend — Jazz Ensemble), $450, 2025-2026 school year.

• Winterford “Jay” Ohland, middle school ACE Advisor, $816.

• Acknowledge that teacher Katelyn Hugo, from Step 6B to Step 6B+24, has completed the requirements per the Collective Bargaining Agreement that would entitle her to a salary increase for the 2025-2026 school year.
