December 24, 2005 — The Times News announces its Football All-Star team and Northern Lehigh heads the list with seven players. Bulldogs receiving TN honors include the area’s leading scorer Nick Hosford, who scored 27 touchdowns and 164 points, at running back; Ty Tkach at tight end; Mike Tumbiolo on the offensive line; Matt Sutjak as offensive specialist; Scott Snyder at linebacker; and Shawn Leadbetter in the secondary. Lehighton (Robbie Frey, Levi Stern, Kyle Brong, Sean Alboucq, Corey Frey) and Jim Thorpe (Craig Zurn, Mike Rambo, Tyler O’Shura, Shawn Bradley, Keith Hontz) each have players make the First Team.
