Kidder Township supervisors

Kidder Township supervisors conducted the following business on Thursday:

• Amendments to Ordinance No. 197, Chapter 146 Solid Waste; Ordinance No. 198, Chapter 134 Property Maintenance Quality of Life, and Ordinance 199, Chapter 102 Fireworks. Copies of all amendments can be obtained at the township.

• A motion was approved to put the 2024 Audit Financial Statement by Kirk, Summa and Co. LLP on file. There were no takers on the snow/ice contract again so the township will try to get its own contract.

• Township Manager Suzanne Brooks noted that they will be doing repairs on the Meckes Lane bridge and the engineer will be drawing up specs.

• Culvert cleaning will be done by Shiffer Bituminous at a cost of $175 per hour with stormwater funds and is not expected to exceed $1,000.

• Blue Ridge Real Estate/Lakeshore Development was tabled until the December 2025 meeting. Camptel Poconos lot improvement subdivision and Mora Solar LLC received extension requests until November 20, 2025.

• The 4,000 acre Preservation Graystone, with 2,500 acres protected by Wildlands Conservancy, request for security amount reduction of $563,414.55 was approved.
