Two people were injured Saturday evening, a man and woman, in a crash in West Brunswick Township.

The incident occurred at 6:15 p.m. as the pair were traveling west on Route 895 near the intersection with Peach Lane. The driver lost control, crossing the roadway and entering the east bound berm impacting with a set of guide rails.

The victims were extricated from the wreckage by members of the New Ringgold and West Penn township fire companies.

The pair were being treated at the scene by members of the Penn Mahoning ambulance. State police at Frackville are investigating the incident.
