Coaldale’s annual horse race fundraiser, “Talk Derby to Me,” will take place on Saturday at the Coaldale Complex, Sixth and High streets.

The event is a night of fun, bets, laughs, food and drinks with a chance to win money.

Attendees can pick a horse or horses and place a bet and have fun as the jockeys move the wooden horses on the track right in front of them. Attendees are encouraged to cheer and even dress for the derby.

The event begins at 4 p.m. with doors opening at 3. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Admission includes include food, snacks and soft drinks. Guests can BYOB. Must be 21 to attend.
