Carbon County Environmental Education Center in Summit Hill has announced the following events.

CCEEC is located at 151 E. White Bear Drive, Summit Hill. The center building is open 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekends.

Yarn Tuesdays

Yarn Tuesdays will meet weekly from Feb. 6 through March 26. The meetings will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

The group is open to knitters, crocheters and crafters of all kinds. Come to one session or all.

Bring your own project and attend for free. Or make a small donation and get all supplies needed to learn a new skill.

Expert instruction and light refreshments.
