Walnutport Borough Council recently took the following action:

• Agreed to have the borough take all steps to secure the Gogel property and make sure there are no unsafe conditions. The property was Donald Gogel’s Garage, at 306 Oak St.

• Agreed to purchase a replacement computer for the secretary/treasurer office in the amount of $1,415 (labor not included).

• Tabled the 1/4 midget racetrack lease agreement update.

• Approved reimbursement of officer Scott Ledo out of the education fund for Taser class $495.

• Allowed Kirk Summa & Company to begin the 2023 audit.

• Approved renewal for handicapped parking spots for 431 Washington St., 317 New St., 123 New St., 303 New St., and 238 A Oak St.
