The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is offered on the Lord’s Day at Saints Peter and Paul Parish by Father Christopher M. Zelonis, assisted by Deacon Joseph C. Wilhelm, Jr., throughout the year on Saturdays at 4 p.m. and Sundays at 7:45 a.m. and 10 a.m. Daily Masses are on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at 8 a.m.

• Masses for the Fourth Sunday of Advent are on Saturday, Dec. 23 at 4 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 24 at 9 a.m.

• Christmas Eve Mass schedule is Sunday, Dec. 24 at 4 p.m. in church, simulcast in hall if needed, and 8 p.m.; Monday, Dec. 25 at midnight and 9 a.m. The Fourth Sunday of Advent and Christmas are two distinct obligations, requiring attendance at two Masses, which could happen on the same day.

• The Advent extra Confession schedule is as follows: Saturday, Dec. 16 from 7 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. to 4 p.m.; Sunday, Dec. 17, 30 minutes before both Sunday Masses; Monday, Dec. 18 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. and 5 to 6 p.m.; Wednesday, Dec. 20 from 7 to 9 p.m.; Thursday, Dec. 21 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. (Two priests available on Wednesday and Thursday); Friday, Dec. 22 from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m.; Saturday, Dec. 23 from 7 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. to 4 p.m.; Sunday, Dec. 24 from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.

• The Eucharist is exposed for personal prayer every Thursday from noon to 9 p.m. We are particularly in need of adorers between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.

• Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Allentown is accepting appointments and walk-ins at the parish convent building every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Services include individual, marriage, and family counseling; pregnancy and parenting support (counseling, material assistance such as diapers, wipes, baby items); and supportive services (case management, material assistance, emergency rental assistance, referrals). • Our parish Saint Vincent de Paul Society hosts “Vincent’s Closet” by appointment in our former convent building on 242 N. 3rd St. The society offers clothing and toiletries for those in need, and seeks donations of the same. Call the Rectory for more information.

The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (formerly RCIA) includes instruction in the Faith for those interested in receiving the Sacraments of Initiation in the Catholic Church. Father is opening the sessions to any parishioner interested in learning more about their faith. Wednesday evenings in the hall from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. No registration necessary.

• On Saturday mornings at 9 a.m. in the hall during Advent, Father will offer public recitation of the Liturgy of the Hours and group Lectio Divina on the coming Sunday readings. Depending on interest, it may become a regular event.
