Most towns are having a tough time handling the snow and ice accumulations from the past week. Along Ridge Street in Lansford there's quite a distance between parking spaces and parking meters. Ridge Street is thebusiness district, and the thick snow piles have created one lane of traffic at points. The situation could deteriorate this coming weekend when another storm could dump a substantial amount. The Weather Channel forecasters said as much as a foot or more of snow is possible. The National Weather Service says amounts are still impossible to determine.
