A wintry hazardous mix of precipitation is expected to develop From north to south tonight into Monday night.
Snow and sleet accumulations will be 2 to 5 inches with the highest amounts in the Poconos and far northwest New Jersey.
Ice accumulations will be less than one-quarter inch.
A mix of rain, freezing rain, sleet and snow is expected to redevelop this evening then change to all snow north of interstate 80 Monday morning and south of interstate 80 Monday afternoon and evening before snow tapers off late Monday night.
The ice and snow will make travel difficult in the region later tonight through Monday night.
Temperatures in the upper 20s to mid 30s this evening will drop into the mid and upper 20s overnight. Highs will only be in the mid 20s to lower 30s Monday. Then lows Monday night will be in the upper teens and lower 20s.
