A pair of retail thefts that occurred recently at the Walmart store in Mahoning Township has resulted in charges of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Township police said that at 7:17 p.m. Aug. 13, a retail theft occurred at the Walmart store.Loss prevention reported that Hollie Carsia, 28, of Hazleton, and Ashley Sudziarski, 26, of Freeland, had stolen cosmetics, and a television.During the investigation, syringes were seized from Hollie.Both have been charged with retail theft, a misdemeanor; and criminal conspiracy-retail theft, a misdemeanor.Carsia, was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.Preliminary hearings for both are scheduled for Oct. 7.A separate retail theft also occurred at the Walmart store at 11:03 p.m. July 4.Loss prevention reported Brandee Boroznoff, 22, of Franklin Township, had stolen merchandise.During the investigation a syringe was seized.Boroznoff has been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor; and retail theft, a summary offense.A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Oct. 7.
