NOV. 28, 1925November 28, 1925On the suggestion of the Hon. James Blakeslee of Lehighton, Eugene Causbrook, president of the Mauch Chunk Town Council, arranged a joint meeting of Mauch Chunk and East Mauch Chunk Town councils to act jointly in securing new street light contracts.It was developed that East Mauch Chunk would pay 20 percent of its taxes for street lighting and Mauch Chunk, 30 percent, the latter being interested in boulevard lighting.Those present were C.C. Milan, chief burgess; Messers McGorry, Bennyhoff, Durnin, McGinley, secretary Clyde Bamberger, Causbrook, John Barry, I.T. DeRemer, W.A. Tobias and secretary F.A. Breslin.
